About
We build systems that are still useful in year three.
Euqitech is a technology engineering and consulting firm. We work with businesses whose operations have outgrown the tools running them.
01How we think
Most of the work we're asked to do arrives described as a technology problem: a system that needs replacing, an integration that needs building, a process that needs automating. Underneath, it's almost always an operational problem that software made worse rather than better.
So we don't start with the stack. We start by sitting with the people doing the work and following what actually happens — including the exceptions nobody documents, which are usually where the cost is.
What we build after that is deliberately unremarkable: proven tools, clear data models, code written on the assumption that someone else will eventually maintain it. Interesting architecture is a liability when the person who found it interesting has moved on.
Start with the constraint
The bottleneck costing you money, not the technology that's interesting to build.
Build it boring
Proven tools and clear documentation outlast clever architecture.
Hand over the keys
You own the code, the accounts, and the decisions. Without exception.
02What we commit to
You own everything
Code, accounts, infrastructure, and documentation are in your name from the first day, not handed over at the end. If you decide to work with someone else, nothing about that is difficult.
We say what things cost
Scope and price are fixed per phase. When something turns out to be harder than we estimated, you hear it in the week it happens, not in the invoice.
We'll tell you not to build it
A configuration change, a different process, or a product you can buy is often the right answer. We'd rather lose the work than build something you don't need.
03Working with us
- Engagement size
- Phased, typically 6–20 weeks per phase
- Team
- Small and senior. The people who scope it build it.
- Where we work
- Remote, with on-site discovery where it matters
- After launch
- Support agreement and a quarterly roadmap review
03Process
How the work actually runs.
Seven stages. Each one ends with something you can hold, review, and disagree with.
We map how the business actually operates, not how the org chart says it does. We talk to the people doing the work.
- Deliverable
- Systems map and a prioritized problem list
- Typical duration
- 1–2 weeks
07Why Euqitech
Choosing a technology partner is a risk. Here’s how we reduce it.
Six commitments we hold to on every engagement.
Book a call- 01Engineering quality
- Tested, reviewed, documented. We write code assuming someone else will maintain it, because eventually someone will.
- 02Business understanding
- We ask what a delay costs before we ask what framework you're running. Technical decisions are business decisions with extra steps.
- 03Long-term partnerships
- Most of our work comes from clients we've had for years. We'd rather be useful in year four than busy in month one.
- 04Modern technology
- Current tools, chosen for stability over novelty. Nothing you'll struggle to hire for in three years.
- 05Clear communication
- Plain language, honest timelines, and early warning when something slips. You won't be surprised by a status report.
- 06Reliable delivery
- Fixed scope per phase, working software every two weeks. If we're going to miss a date, you hear it from us first.
Let’s build something that matters.
Thirty minutes. Tell us what’s slowing the business down and we’ll tell you what we’d do about it — whether or not you hire us.
